I was watching amer. bandstand one time when they had on j.geils. Peter Wolf, lead singer, introduced the band for Dick Clark thusly:

I had 2 or 3 'lickin sticks' but I couldn't make them work right. Same with the guitar & piano. My instrument was the record player.
